Bob Dodge represents and is Vice President of Pacific Maritime Association (PMA), 627 N. Fries Avenue, Wilmington, CA 90744. He is a retired Captain of the U.S. Coast Guard where his service spanned 24 years. PMA has served on the WIPAC since 1999 and is responsible for training all International Longshoreman and Warehouse Union (ILWU) members, i.e. longshoremen, clerks and foremen on the West Coast of the United States. Mr. Dodge has direct oversight for two training sites located within the Wilmington Industrial Park. These sites train longshoremen on how to safely operate semi-tractors, forklifts, top-handlers and side-picks. When ILWU members graduate from these training programs, these individuals are ready to work at the various terminals in the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
